Best For: loungewear, as well as yoga/pilates, low impact workouts, and pregnancy/postpartum.
The Align High Rise Pant is the most famous pair of leggings (and for good reason). If you’re going to purchase one pair of lululemon leggings, we recommend going with the Aligns. The buttery soft fabric is truly next level when it comes to comfort.
Pro tip: some of the lighter colors of Align leggings are double-lined for additional coverage. I personally avoid these colors, because I don’t like how the thicker material feels. If you see a seam down the outer thigh, it’s double-lined.
Sizing Notes: These leggings run slightly large, and come in 23″, 25″, 28″ and 31″ inseams. If you’re between sizes, we recommend sizing down. Caroline is 5’6″ and typically wears a size 4 in bottoms. She is pictured wearing her typical size in the 25″ Aligns with Pockets.
Best For: everyday wear. Easily dressed up or dressed down.
My go-to pant to make me feel more put-together for everything from work meetings to dressing up for date night.
The fabric is lightweight and stretchy, with a buttery-soft Nulu waistband, making it perfect for everyday wear.
Sizing Notes: These run true to size. Lindsey is 5’8″ and typically wears a Size 6 in bottoms. She is pictured wearing a size small in the Stretch Woven Wide-Leg Pant.
Best For: running errands and travel days.
These pants were the OG lululemon pant, and now one of the most trending pants of the year. With a cinched waistband, deep pockets and subtle ruched detailing, these pants are great for running errands or traveling.
The lightweight fabric stretches and moves with you, without losing its shape. The fabric doesn’t cling to your legs, making these the perfect pants to throw on after a sweaty workout, too.
Sizing Notes: These pants run true to size. Rachel is 5’8″ and typically wears a Size 6 in bottoms. She is pictured wearing her typical size in the Dance Studio Mid-Rise Pant.
Best For: running, training and dressing up for work.
The Adapted State Joggers are designed for training, but we love them as comfortable work pants as well. The sleek fabric is quick-drying and sweat-wicking, keeping you cool and comfortable during your workouts.
Clean lines and a chic silhouette make these joggers a great elevated everyday wear item as well.
Sizing Notes: These run true to size. Lindsey is 5’8″ and typically wears a Size 6 in bottoms. She is pictured wearing her typical size in the Adapted State High-Rise Full-Length Jogger.
Best For: ultimate softness. The best lounging sweatpant.
Super soft, peach-fuzz like fabric makes these sweatpants one of the comfiest items in our closet.
One thing to note is that water marks do show up on some of the lighter colors. They come out clean in the wash, but we recommend going with one of the darker fabrics to avoid the issue of water stains.
Sizing Notes: These run true to size. Rachel is 5’8″ and typically wears a Size 6 in bottoms. She is pictured wearing her typical size in the Softstreme High-Rise Pant.
The lululemon Align High Rise Leggings are the most popular lululemon pant on the internet. With a buttery soft feel and super flattering design, these leggings are an essential for any woman. The ABC Pants are the most popular lululemon pant for men.
Absolutely, lululemon makes high-quality, durable and stylish pieces you can take from the gym to the office. lululemon pants are meant to be versatile: you can wear many pieces for athletic activities like yoga, training, and running errands, or dressed up for work or date night.
Although lululemon pants may come in at a higher price point than other pants on the market, the quality, style and fit make them worth the investment. I’ve found that lululemon pants are the most comfortable and best fitting pants I’ve tried for workwear and everyday wear. In my opinion, they are well worth the price point because they are designed to last for years of wear.
