2021 Decision Campaign Activities

The Decision Campaign launched last week to support seniors with confirming their postsecondary plan. As you continue to meet with seniors and help them finalize their plans, encourage you to enter senior plans in the STARS Postsecondary Tracker. If you are experiencing challenges, refer to this Decision Campaign guide or join our office hours on Tuesday at 9am (Zoom link here).

This time of year brings so much joy to our work because we are able to celebrate our students’ postsecondary decisions and affirm them in following their dreams. For many of our students, they are the first in their families to accomplish this milestone; therefore, it is very important that we let them know how proud we are of them. It can be as simple as giving them #IDecided stickers to motivating them to wear their postsecondary program swag and/or creating a selfie station.

Last but not least, before posting students’ accomplishments on your school website and social media accounts, ensure students have media consent forms. We also want to hear from you, share your resources and Decision Campaign activities in this Digital Yearbook. When highlighting seniors on social media use the following hashtags: #FutureReadyNYC and #IDecided. We thank you for the hard work you are doing to ensure students have the support they need to cross the finish line!
