June 2022 Senior Support

We hope you are staying cool! In this College and Career Planning Newsletter edition, we are focusing on Summer Supports for rising seniors and graduates.

Postsecondary Planning supports will continue for 2022 graduates throughout the summer via the College & Career Bridge For All Program. Use this sample student facing email to remind graduates and motivate them to respond to their bridge coach in the coming weeks. Encourage graduates and rising seniors to sign-up for Next Step Texts to gain access to support this summer.

A huge thank you for all your hard work this year. You have helped and uplifted another graduating class persevere all while being in a global pandemic. We hope you are taking some time to celebrate your wins. Sending you lots of gratitude as you continue to cheer on the class of 2022 and wishing you a restful summer break!

Top Tips

  1. Encourage students to sign-up for Next Step Texts; rising seniors for summer updates and senior graduates to gain access to the College & Career Bridge For All program
  2. Encourage students to connect 1-1 with an online college and career advisor to ask questions after school and on weekends for free. Advisors can support updating selected college on the FAFSA app, verification, career programs, NYS Dream Act App, summer opportunities, and other topics.
